SEVERE WEATHER EXPECTED IN NORTH EAST INDIA. LIFE THREATENING STORMS LIKELY

A very severe weather is in store for India and Bangladesh starting from tomorrow (Monday)-15th April 2013 lasting till atleast 18th April 2013

Synopsis-
Multiple severe weather events are expected in a wide corridor which stretches from West Bengal-Bangladesh Border, Bangladesh ejecting into the North East states of India particularly Tripura, Meghalaya,Manipur,Mizoram,Nagaland as well. The models are in agreement that an unstable air mass will persist in these regions along with formation of positive vortex regions, excellent thermodynamic conditions supporting stronger thunderstorms/isolated supercells towards the NE India. Here is the day wise scenario expected-

** Rainfall expected in Assam in this period**

Monday/15th April 2013

Thunderstorms with rainfall is expected in Southern,SouthEastern Bangladesh, bordering Meghalaya particularly. Greater instability persists towards Bangladesh coastal side allowing moisture incursion and higher instability. Chance of hailstorm and strong winds towards the later part of the day in these sectors

Tuesday/16th April 2013
Greater instability arrives in the region and severe thunderstorms are likely in the entire regions like Eastern Bangladesh,Tripura with rainfall in the bordering areas. The people in Mizoram may get rains towards the night. Hailstorms, strong lightning with rains expected.

Wednesday/17th April 2013- Thursday/18th April 2013
Extreme instability will persists in entire of Bangladesh with CAPE over 3000J/Kg, LI = -7, TT over 55! Possibly, very severe thunderstorms accompanied by isolated supercells are likely. Even a tornado chance can't be ruled out on this day around Eastern Bangladesh or moving into Tripura-Mizoram province. 
** People must pay special attention towards the weather here and try to remain safe**
